Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our pleasure to invite you to attend the 15th International Symposium for Chinese Organic Chemists (ISCOC-15) and the 12th International Symposium for Chinese Inorganic Chemists (ISCIC-12) to be held in Taipei on October 26-29, 2018. It is an honor for us to host both biennial symposiums of this series inaugurated in 1990 and 1996, respectively. Both symposiums have become an important platform for bringing together worldwide Chinese chemists to exchange their scientific findings, cultivate mutual understandings, and foster possible collaborations. It will follow the successful previous editions, and all of us, in Taipei, will do our best towards the achievement of another memorable scientific event.
These two symposiums are devoted to recent advances and new trends in organic and inorganic chemistry, including synthetic methodology, natural product synthesis, supramolecular chemistry, functional organic and inorganic compounds for materials science, coordination chemistry, main group chemistry, organometallic chemistry, as well as other emerging topics in both organic and inorganic chemistry. The program also provides opportunities for experiencing the cultures, tasting the typical Taiwanese cuisine, and seeing the natural beauty.
The venue of ISCOC-15 & ISCIC-12 will be at National Taiwan University (NTU), which could be readily accessed by public transportations. Diverse and convenient accommodation facilities are also available close to the venue.
